Contemporary wooden icon, made from a rectangular piece of wood with a rounded oblong peg at the top and incised geometric decoration either side with a hinged, cut-out door. Inside each, both sides are decorated with polychrome paintings. One side depicts two female saints greeting each other, possibly Mary and Elizabeth, and an angel holding a ceremonial sceptre. The other side shows Mary and child guarded by two angels with two figures below, and Saint George and the Dragon.
