Rod puppet of "The Bull". Standing puppet with a central wooden rod and wire frame around its abdomen. Two wire and wood rods are attached, one to each hand. There is a rod inside to move the head and a lever on this to open the mouth. The puppet has a sculpted head made from painted gauze stretched over wood (?) and has fabric horns; painted eyes; large, black, felt eyelashes; a large, realistic muzzle; floppy pink ears with a patch of red, furry fabric around the right horn and pink, padded hands.
It is dressed in a red scarf of similar fabric to 2000.211.1 and a blue robe with long sleeves trimmed in green and tied at the waist with a green sash. This is worn over a maroon shirt and a dark blue skirt.
