Tambura made from a gourd body with wooden neck and pegs. There are four metal strings, one attached to each peg. Label at the top of the neck 'BINA/Bina Musical Store/MADE IN INDIA/REGD. TRADE MARK'. The edges and body are decorated with a white resin(?) inlay, painted with black pigment with occasional touches of red. An oval resin(?) tuning bead is threaded through each string between the tail and the bridge.
