bag (containers)

A rare form of Subarctic pouch, possibly for tobacco. The double tabs at the bottom link this bag to other Subarctic pouches. Made from two sections of woven textile (felted, one red, one blue) and lined with cotton fabric with a floral print. The fabric forms two flaps at the bottom of the bag section which is edged with blue wool ribbon and decorated with two bands of geometric beaded decoration. Some surface lost due to old infestation.
