On Tues 28 and Wed 29 March, the Butterfly House, Animal Walk, Blue Badge Parking, Bandstand Terrace and Horniman Drive gates and path will be closed for resurfacing works. Please follow signs on site.
We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk.
Two hollow brass finger rings. Each one is a double ring, with a slit along the whole circumference on the outer edge, and joined on the inner edge. Each ring contains six rattling metal beads.
The vendor noted that the rings were worn by temple dancers. They were purchased at the Temple Market in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in October 1973.
