Wooden figure of rice goddess consisting of a carved piece of wood with a red background colour, probably a 'tapel geobogan', an ornament for the front of a gebogan offering. The back is undecorated and the lower half forms a handle, the top half consisting of a torso of a figure. The figure is detailed in red, black and grey costume and facial features. The hands are clasped palms together at the waist, the hands are broken and missing. At the top of the figure is a black stand decorated with gold circles.

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
