The top of the jar is dark blue and has a pattern running around the rim (turquoise, red, white and pink.) The top of the jar is metal. The lid is small and round and has a metal base. It is dark blue coloured with gold swirls and red white pink and blue flowers around the centre. In the centre is a gold metal handle carved to produce a leaf or petal effect. The handle is secured to the lid as a screw through the lid, with a square metal bolt. The inside of the jar is dark turquoise in colour..
