Clarinet in B flat. Dalbergia melanoxylon (African blackwood, grenadilla) body. Nickel silver keywork and nickel silver-plated ferrules. Ebonite mouthpiece. Chromium-plated ligature and mouthpiece cap. Keys have fish skin pads. Boehm system. Five pieces. Cork lapped tenons. Mouthpiece stamped and highlighted in gold: Vandoren/PARIS; Ligature stamped: FRANCE; Upper joint and bell stamped: JEAN MARTIN/PARIS; Upper joint and lower joint have the serial number 85827 stamped on the reverse.
