Regimental drum. Ash shell with two skin heads. Rope tensioned heads, leather tug ears. Outer shell is emblazoned with painted insignia incorporating an elephant and unicorn. One inscription, painted in black on a gold background reads: BOOSEY AND Co. MAKERS, LONDON; Another in gold on a black background reads: KAPURTHALA/STATE; Another, again in black on a gold background reads: ...BA MEA/PUGNAT VOX/BRITTANIA AUDITUR/IBI
