Copy-adaptation of a tent band in the Karakalpak Art Museum, Nukus collection. Rectangular rug-shape with a tent-band decoration. White cotton base with raised pile decoration in black, dark brown and ochre yellow, in motifs of ram’s horns, chevrons, triangles and crosses. A tablet-woven band runs along the two long edges, with white cotton warps ending in tassels. See printed label attached to the specimen ‘Produced by “Nukus Cultural Heritage’ NGO”.
