Woman’s skirt for ‘best’ wear comprising many finely shredded strips of coconut leaf of different lengths tied into a finely knotted belt of the same material. Layered over this are shorter fibres of the same material in yellow, orange, blue, green and purple which are themselves overlaid and inters[erased with trimmed up rectangular tabs of pandanus leaf in natural and dyed purple. These tabs have scalloped edges, some are trimmed to a point, and some have a pinked edge.
