Around the village house

Painting depicting a flat-roofed, single strong house with an earth roof from which the support poles are protruding, with a chimney and a window with seven panes. The house appears to be built on a frame, perhaps a railway carriage or a lorry container. In the foreground of the yard there are a pile of branches, a stack of brushwood, and a poplar tree. Outside the fence are more poplars, and a grey-blue sky. Painted on canvas with a plain, yellow wooden frame, and a white printed label in the bottom right corner: Утегенов A. Bокрук дома в ауле 15150 c. Mounted on a plain wooden frame with triangular plywood corners, with a white stick on label ‘2’. Inscribed: Утегенов Aмантельды. Курбаибарвии 1951 r. p. Bокрук дома в ауле 1994 r.
