Flute. African blackwood (grenadilla). Silver ferrules and end cap. Eight block mounted silver keys with square flaps and leather pads, C and C-sharp keys with pewter plugs. Six tone holes. Five joints connected with string lapped tenons apart from brass tuning slide connecting head joint. Upper,lower and foot joint each stamped: KEY/LONDON; with a unicorn's head emblem directly beneath.
