Skirt, kain endek. Unsewn silk skirt cloth, kamen, woven as one piece (i.e. not cut from a longer length of fabric). Decorated in silk ikat design mostly in light blue and grey, with yellow, green and red motifs with black outlines to the main design areas. At each end a short plain black band, the warp ends being left loose. Bali, Indonesia. (AF98)
