case (elements of musical instruments)

Black hardboard instrument case with metal alloy casing around the edges and corners. It is hinged horizontally on the longest side, with the locking mechanisms (two recessed butterfly latches) on the other side. The handle sits horizontally between the two latches, and is wrapped with extra padding and cloth around the gripping surface. It is painted on the back and front with 'Gordon Huntley' and has a variety of stickers on either side. The interior has been divided into two compartments, one with 'shelves' to rest the instrument on, and is covered with a green foam.
