

Round wooden pedestal tray, dulang, painted and gilded. Turned pedestal with wide base tapering towards the top into which is set a circular tray which has a square aperture at the top which would have held a stand onto which offerings of fruit and other items would have been fixed. The rim of the base of the pedestal is painted black, the base itself red, the sides black and the underside of the tray black at the flat base, red at the outward sloping sides, with a narrow black band around the rim. The whole of the outside is further decorated in gold paint in stylised floral and vegetal motifs, with distinctive triangular shapes the length of the pedestal.
