
Skirt, the front part of loose tabby woven cream undyed linen, pleated around the waistband and formed of two pieces stitched horizontally by machine. The lower part is densely embroidered below in red wool with black details and above more sparsely with discrete black and red motifs. The back of the skirt is of plain cambric with no embroidery, also formed of an upper and lower part sewn together by machine. The hem at the lower edge of the skirt has been stitched by machine, and a trim of machine lace added. Secured by means of cream cords to either side at the waistband, which itself is extenbded so that it can be tied.
