The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Sanctuary bell (handbell) of brass, with a frieze with the Christian symbols of a lion, eagle, lamb and pelican in front of ladders and engraved 'LEO AQUILA AGNUS PELICANUS'. Stamped internally 'MADE IN/ENGLAND' beneath the dome. The handle is in the form of a loop. Internal clapper.
