Ceramic pillow, Hong Kong. Made of rectangular slabs of porcelain decorated on each side in blue and white with a dog lion playing with a ball within a white cartouche surrounded by patterns of blossom. One end has an oval aperture, the other has an aperture in the shape of two interlocking coin motifs between bat motifs. Border of scrolling banji design.
