Lid for Shan basket for carrying cooked rice to the fields. The lid is circular at the lower edge and forms a square at the top reinforced by a cross of splints attached to each corner. These would form 4 feet if the lid was upturned and used as a container. At two opposite sides of both basket and lid are small integral loops through which a cord could be passed, to go under and above the basket to form a carrying handle, though no such cord is present.
