One of a pair of leather slippers for woman, stamped on upper face of sole ‘MOULMEIN MAYANGON No. 370’ with a figure of an elephant and a triangle with the letter ‘A’ inside it. Upper of black velvet covers toe area and extends along sides, narrowing to front of heel where it ends. Decorated with painted pink flowers and a strip of pleated fabric with a band of black and one of white along the top edge, which is curved. Heel formed of two extra layers of leather.
