421.221.12 Open flutes with internal duct with fingerholes

Treble recorder in three sections, stamped on the back of the head joint: Dolmetsch BS3499, in a circular pattern around a heart-shaped B(ritish) S(tandard) symbol with the serial number 13627 stamped below, the serial number alone on the middle and bell sections; of dark wood (rosewood?) covered heavily in shiny varnish, the two lowest finger holes divided.
