Lamellaphone ‘likembe’ made in July 2021 by Adelayi Kiamu, Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Calabash resonator, laminate soundboard, eight metal keys. The soundboard inscribed ‘LIKEMBE/NDULE VILLAGE’ in pokerwork with a design of houses and trees, representing a village. The manufacture of the likembe by Adelayi Kiamu, and its performance by André Lokwa NKubiri are documented by videos and images.
