

Long rectangular wooden gingerbread mould with carved motifs on both sides and an iron surround. On the obverse, carvings left to right represent a milkmaid, a farmer and bull, a figure holding a branch, possibly olive and 2 interlocking swans. Reverse from left to right, jester-like figure, man with horse and cart, man on horse plus 4 other carvings which are unclear and need further identification. Initials 'IHS' inscribed. Casts have been made from this mould. These are numbered nn2017ii (swans) nn2017iv (figure with branch) and nn2017v (milkmaid).
