There are vertical tongues in between the two horizontal ribbon handles with spurs. The interior is painted dull brown or red, and the handles are painted black. The lid has a wave pattern painted around the edge, and dilute black on the shoulder, with a pattern of leaves and stylized tendrils in yellow and white. It has horizontal black bands painted around the handle. In the tondo of the foot-like handle, a yellow and white flower motif is painted on a black ground. The interior of the lid is undecorated.
