Shadow puppet, wayang kulit, depicting Resi Riswara, a character from the Ramayana. He is wearing a clergical cap, or ketu dewa, formed of a cloth wrapped around the head. The figure is attached to a central wooden support, with articulated arms attached to smaller wooden rods. (One of the rods is detached but present) Decorated with polychrome pigments and pierced detailing.
