Chess or makruk piece, representing a pawn or เบี้ย, bia. Small round dome-shaped counter. On of a complete set of carved engraved and turned chessmen. The pieces are dyed either red (cherry) or light brown though the bases of some of the light brown pieces are dark green. This piece has been dyed light brown with a green base.
