Stencil made from a thin rectangular sheet of lead. From Nigeria. Stamped out in wheel shaped patterns against a background of small crescent moons. (See cloth sample no. 92. using stencil similar to this one). This stencil would have been made from the lead lining of a British tea caddy or food container.
