mask (dance & live theatre)

Wooden mask with a separate long curving beaked nose and a separate protruding forked tongue painted red attached by fibres through the mouth, knotted and held in a notch in the base of the mask. There is also a pair of wooden ears and above them a pair of curved horns; both are plugged into the temples. The whole mask is painted in white, black, red and yellow and is covered with varnish.
