Long, hand woven linen dress with a slit to the waist. There is embroidery in red and black wool in three areas: around the neck, along the top of the arms and at the cuffs and at the lower front and back of the textile. The sleeves have the addition of gold-coloured metal wrapped thread. The patterning is geometric, large-scale on the sleeves, which includes a cross within a diamond. The hem has a row of large medallion shapes and at the front, two vertical, rectangular panels of a diamond lattice pattern. The lower side seam has a very stylised plant (?) motif with three circular blooms, worked in coloured silks.
