He is wearing a white kariginu, which is a long waistcoat, over a brocade kimono with grey and black floral design. He is also wearing a hat, which is also known as an eboshi. In his hands he carries a da-kasa, a sign that the emperor is coming. This doll would sit on the left side as we face the display. The sword he carries has become detached.
