Model sword in sheath on stand. (i) Model sword, katana, with hilt of sharkskin wrapped in purple cord (tsukamaki) with three gold-coloured chrysanthemum menuki embellishments on each side. Gold-coloured tsuba. Steel blade (tōshin) has dragon design below the hilt. (ii) Model sheath, saya, of wood with metal decorations and bands in gold colour. Red and white cord attached by two leather strips has two decorative knots and two tassels. (iii-iv) Stand for model sword and sheath. Black lacquered wood with gold paint around the rectangular base.
