Woman's blouse. Fine, loose, plain-woven single ply fabric embroidered with multicoloured wools (?) in angular and floral patterns in rows down the front and back and bands across the sleeves, from shoulder to cuff. A thin neck band is also embroidered; a fastening cord, tassled at both ends, passes through; the cloth is smocked at the neck. Some of the seams have been sewn with the same embroidery thread. The bottom hem is a selvedge. L. 22 1/2"; W (inc. sleeves) 60".
