Head of string/rod puppet in the form of a male figure (Cavalier/Captain) made from wood. The head decorated with real hair and glass eyes, and a painted face. It wears a blue felt hat which is decorated with a hatband with a metal and glass buckle, and two black ostrich feathers. The rod is inserted through the head and ends in hooks at top and bottom.
