Turned wooden nutmeg grater with a removable lid. Inside is a perforated tin grate, underneath, there is a screw off base to retrieve the grated nutmeg. There is a wooden peg on the side, which has a flattened leaf shape end. The overall shape resembles a saucepan and lid. Blue paint and glue is stuck to the base, probably from an old display board.
