Shield, klebit bok, made of painted wood. Made from a single block of wood, convex, more or less oblong but pointed at top and bottom, and with a ridge down the middle. Painted with stylised foliate motifs in black on an ochre ground, with horizontal rows of tufts of hair covering the surface at top and bottom, along sides and with a central tuft. Handle on reverse. 50"l. Kenyah/ Kayan
