Sash (waistcloth). Made in two parts of red cloth, one a single piece of unpleated material to the middle of which is attached by a single piece of thread the second piece, which has a pleat down the middle; it has three buttons on the end attached to the other piece (each marked on the front with 'for gentlemen') and a star and three cotton loops at the other end. (a) 41 x 7"; (b) 39" x 4 1/2".
