Mangle board made of wood, consisting of a flat board with a raised handle at one end carved in the shape of a lion. Decorated on the upper surface with curvilinear carved designs. Partially painted in red. The date 1868 has been painted on the surface, probably a sale date rather than the date of manufacture.
