Rectangular sample of multicoloured silk and cotton warp-faced ikat. The textile is seemingly from a larger cloth with a single green twill-woven selvedge. The ikat stripes are separated by thin black and yellow dotted stripes. The colour sequence runs pink and white, blue-black and white, red and white, and brown and white. The pattern is achieved by using a red cotton weft, and a coloured silk warp. The sample and a small cream exhibition label with typed text are displayed between 2 rectangular pieces of glass. The glass is secured with black adhesive tape around the edges.
