Long wooden fire stick made to revolve (by rubbing between flat palms) in a small hole a short piece of wood. Each hole has a groove by the side of it, so that tinder, put in the bottom of the hole can fall out when hot to kindle a fire. There are six hole in the piece of wood, of which two have been used; the wood is roughly boat-shaped, with a narrow neck and a circular groove in it at one end.
