A pipe, pipe case with lid and pouch. The pipe has a small brass bowl with a long bamboo stem and brass hexagonal bowl stem. The long brass mouthpiece is also hexagonal. The pipe case has two interfitting tubes of black lacquerware on a paper base, that is oval in cross section. The case and pouch has an impressed pattern over the entire surface.The tobacco pouch is rectangular pouch of black grained leather with red suede lining with a flap closure. The brass clip has a chrysanthemum design and a fence device, which is coloured black in parts. The pipe and tobacco cases are connected by a cord with a round ojime bead of red, black and brown lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlay in flower shapes in between.
