neck ornament; snuff container

Rectangles of beadwork joined corner to corner to form a necklace. One very large rectangle (blue & black diamonds separated with white lines) – falls onto the breast, 4 other smaller rectangles in green, black & white, similar design. Fastened with a loop and brass button. To the left corner of the large rectangle a tube of wood is attached with beadwork string. Wooden tube covered with copper wire in a diagonal pattern. White beads are sewn to both ends of the tube. Two strings of beads are attached to the tubes which are mainly red, black, blue and white, with occasional yellow beads.
