The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Snuff mull, a terminal section of ram's horn, provided with a leather lid. The horn is engraved with a picture of a cat and the letters "M.P.", with a scoop manufactured from a sheep's tarsal. The scoop and the lid are attached to the mull by a long thong passing through the tip. Label: one yellow exhibition label, printed.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database. Some of this is incomplete and there may be errors. This part of the website is also still under construction, so there may be some fields repeated or incorrectly formatted information.
