Glass photographic plates taken during expeditions through Africa and attributed to Edward James Wayland (circa 1925). According to annotations and attached envelopes, some of these images featured in issues of the Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute. Glass plates 2, 5, 13, 16 and 23 are broken.
