Taxidermy case of adult male and adult female Common Nightingale. According to Edward Hart, writing on 7 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male, July 1877; right (no 2): adult female, August 27th 1884; nest and two eggs, May 24th 1884. Both shot by me in Grove Coppice, Christchurch. Sexes alike; summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
