One piece wooden spear with tapering cylindrical shaft and head composed of two pairs of opposing barbs; both edges of the head are heavily serrated with downward facing barbs. At the neck there are two projecting trapezoidal pierced flanges from which hang short knotted coconut fibre tufts. On the underside of the head there are incised a serrated crescent, a seven pointed star and a scroll motif.
