An H-shaped metal loom reed with a horizontal series of flat strips, and vertical ends. Short lengths of gold-coloured silk thread have been threaded through the reed and tied in a knot together. There are also lengths of fine string tied around each end of the reed, and a small folded piece of paper has been pushed through one of them.
