Figure of a stocky man, possibly a Kumi, wearing a loin cloth which has a long protruding end. This is fixed at the front with nails but may once have been at the back where a piece appears to have broken off. The right hand is raised as if it once held a weapon or staff. The lower part of the arm is nailed to the upper part. The figure wears a head cloth (indicated by paint) in plain white wound around the head, with the hair piled above it in a bun. The loin cloth has patterning at the end of bands. The man is probably southern Chin, certainly from Upper Burma.
