Small, rectangular weft-faced, tabby-woven cotton textile decorated with multicoloured bands. The bands include brown paper with a gold-coloured surface on the front of the textile. The dominant bands are decorated with multicoloured diamond/arrow motifs. The smaller diamond motifs appear to contain a contrasting coloured swatika motif. They are framed and separated by narrower cream, and coloured bands. Either end of each sequence is a slightly wider solidly coloured band, and an even wider cream-coloured band. The textile has selvedges on both shorter sides, and appears to have been cut on the longer sides. Accompanying label includes: 'Morton collection? In same box as 11.7.67 series'. Part of a head wrapper (similar to 6.4.59/49).
