Paper manuscript. 'This is the Uman Da - the longest and most celebrated of the Jatakas or stories of the previous births of the Buddha. This book was written in Elu in the year 1317 AD, on the basis of the much older Pali version. The Pali is now being edited by Prof. Fausboll of Copenhagen. Prof. Rhys Davids, in his Buddhist Birth Stories pp xiv-xvi, has translated a portion. A fine ms (has the original board covers and silver stud). This copy is old and well written.'
